03 Greedo is an American hip-hop artist from Los Angeles, California. He is currently signed to Alamo Records. Greedo is also the founder of his own label, Golden Grenade Empire. His music portfolio includes “Never Bend,” “Run For Yo Life,” “Mafia Business,” and “Traphouse” ft Shoreline Mafia. Over the years, he has released a staggering amount of mixtapes and albums. Despite having mixtapes out from 2010, Greedo started turning heads in 2016 after dropping the project, Purple Summer. Real name, Jason Jamal Jackson, he was born on July 26, 1987, in Gardena, Los Angeles, California. At the age of one, his father lost his life in a motorcycle accident. Greedo is the youngest of three siblings (older brother and sister). Like his late father, he, too, would become affiliated with the crip gang. Some of his biggest collaborators include YG, Shoreline Mafia, PnB Rock, Lil Uzi Vert, Drakeo, and Yhung To among others. In summer 2018, 03 Greedo was sentenced to 20 years in prison for 2016 drug charges and illegal gun possession. He continues to record while incarcerated.
